Children with Special Needs

All children receive regular assessments in Mathematics and English.  Children with special educational needs receive attention as required. Pupils requiring support are either withdrawn from the classroom for additional teaching help or more frequently, are supported within the classroom.  Where a child has a continuing learning difficulty, an individual education plan is produced and followed which is closely matched to the child's achievements.

Parents are closely consulted and encouraged to participate in their child's learning, thereby ensuring a partnership between home and school.
